Agrin is committed to ethical, socially responsible, human, climate and biodiversity environment. We encourage sustainable use of natural resources, embrace recycling practices, and support renewable energy sources. Across our supply chain, we work proactively to reduce the overall amount of waste produced. We believe in a sustainable trade network, and collaborate with our vendors and partners to facilitate environmental protection and reduction of our carbon footprint.
Agrin's 2025
As a company dedicated to ethical agricultural practices, we implement resource management strategies that are mindful of current needs and future generations. By the end of 2025, we aim to source at least 25% of our key resources and materials from sustainable partners. We also ensure the welfare of our suppliers and harvesters through social responsibility programmes.
Zero-waste by 2025
Agrin is an environmentally conscious company. We have instituted strategies to recycle and reuse organic and inorganic materials. Through these methods, we aim to become a zero-waste company by 2025 and refrain from sending waste to landfills. Agrin also believes in energy conservation and has begun the transition to clean energy. Since April 2021, Agrin Maroc has converted 60% of its electrical energy consumption into renewable energy sources.
Pioneer in Sustainable Farming
Using state-of-the-art technologies and natural agricultural practices, Agrin has pioneered a new approach to sustainable farming in Morocco. Since 2018, we have invested heavily in direct farming, through our Agrin Farming and Agrin Organic Farming subsidiaries. Sustainable farming now accounts for more than 300 hectares of wild range produce distributed by our company.
